Patrick Villas, born in 1961, is a contemporary Belgian sculptor who is currently living and working in France.
Patrick Villas studied drawing and painting at the school of Fine Arts in Antwerp.
Like his precursor Rembrand Bugatti he liked to go to the Antwerp Zoo observing the felines what results in a lively sculpture .
It is this same zoo who in 2002 will command a sculpture of a jaguar for its gardens.
The Belgian earthenware factory Royal Boch commissioned him on two occasions a series of animals.
In 2016 he had a big exhibition at the Centre d'Art Contemporain Matmut in Rouen , France.
